Christmas Cheer!

It has been an eventful week in the life of Alice! She attended her first holiday party on Sunday where she met Santa for the first time!! She was great - no tears - not even a look of distress when jolly ole Santa had her on his lap.
We snapped a family shot at the Kingswood holiday party. There were over 40 kids there all under the age of 10! They did arts and crafts for the first half of the party and then for the second half they all told Santa just what they wanted for Christmas. It was the cutest thing ever. SO many adorable kids there.Below is Alice doing a photo shoot for her mother. I thought she looked so adorable in her holiday outfit that I wanted to get a picture of her by the tree. She loved looking at that Polar Bear. I don't know what that indicates about her future plans....

The next couple photos were from Friday at work. On Fridays Alice comes into the office with me and then hangs out with one of the lacrosse players, Kristin Phelps, while I teach my fitness class. Once class is over Alice and I make the rounds saying hello to the women in the office downstairs and we always make time to say hi to Auntie Anne. We call it our "social day." Anne decided to try putting some "stockings" on Alice. As you can see she looks like quite the elf!
Kristin has been an incredible help to us, looking after Alice every Friday. We all know that Alice can take awhile to warm up to people, but remarkable she took to Kristin right away. I snapped a quick pic of the happy pair on their last Friday together before the holiday!
Lastly, Alice had her 6 month check up last week. She is doing well. She is 15lbs 15oz (50%) 26 inches (75%) with a head measuring in the 90 percentile!! Her latest trick has been to reach for things on the floor. You can tell she wants to start crawling. She pushes her bum up in the air and kicks with her feet but she hasn't put all the steps together yet. It's pretty funny to watch her try though! She is battling a little bit of a cold right now but will hopefully recover in time for the holiday!

We are looking forward to heading up to Maine at the end of this week!!
