Spring Break...

We survived. The team went 4-0, Reeves took his last immersion course and Grandma Sue had her hands full with Dana and Alice. We all managed to get through this crazy week which felt like a major accomplishment by the end of it! I'm hopeful that it will be smoother sailing ahead, as we get into the 'routine' part of the season with regular practice times and a steady schedule of games. Here are just a few photos from this weekend. Alice is sporting her first Trinity Lacrosse shirt and Dana tried squash for the first time! Surprise, surprise - she seemed to enjoy it!
Alice doing her best imitation of a Trinity Lacrosse player! They love their phones!
Yum Yum. Dana loves her solid food!
Alice needed a hat for school. This is what she found!

Weekend fun!

Dana and Alice are doing very well! Dana has two bottom teeth coming in which has led to some unhappiness at times but overall, I'm just floored with how she continues to grow! Time seems to be flying by! Lately, Dana is obsessed with her jumperoo! It's a great development for me, as it helped ease my morning duties. I can plop her in and she's happy jumping until it's time to go! In fact, she likes to jump so much, she'll jump in your arms as you play with her on the floor. It's very funny! I was a little obsessed myself, capturing Dana on film in her jumperoo. I just cannot get enough of this chubby little girl!
Dana is also getting more adept at sitting up on her own. Generally, she needs a boppy pillow surrounding her, but still, she's coming along. Another milestone that makes me wonder where the time has gone!

We had a nice weekend. The weather has been incredible. We went for a walk in the woods where Alice was looking to find animals - specifically Bambi. We didn't find Bambi on that walk but we did have four Deer visit our backyard the next morning. Alice told us that it was Bambi with his Mom and brother and sister. Nice little family! Below is a pic of the girls before our walk. Big crazy week coming up with Reeves taking an immersion course and me leaving for spring break. We are excited for the arrival of Grandma Sue!!

Alice feeds Dana!

SNOW and rice cereal

So we had an early dismissal yesterday due to the weather. A snowy afternoon was very exciting for Alice and very depressing for her mother's team (ugh). But I did enjoy running around outside with Alice. We made a snow man and walked in the woods. Alice probably caught 200 snowflakes in her mouth. That was by far her favorite thing to do.

Alice really wanted to help feed Dana her rice cereal. She had been talking about it all day. It was very exciting for her. She did a few celebration moves after a couple successful bites. She's a pretty great big sister!
