Summer - Part I

Alice absolutely loved riding on the Bushnell Carousel.  She rode it non-stop upon our arrival.  Dana preferred the playground outside so Reeves got most of the Carousel riding and I had the happy job of following Dana around.  That girl does not stand still!
 Matching dresses from Gumma!
Yes, it's posed - but still melts my heart!
We had a fabulous time strawberry picking.  Alice and Dana were both a great help! Dana ate WAY more than she picked but we had a blast!
Alice was very concerned about getting the red ones that "weren't too red."
Dana's contributions were mainly green strawberries but she had a great time finding them!
Hard at work! Actually she's probably contemplating, "should I pick more or eat more?"
And that's a wrap!  I can't believe my little Dana is such a big girl!
Dana went off script here and started painting her face with strawberry juice.  This knows how to make a mess!
More sisterly love! Not posed this time...
This girl is so much fun!
Cousin love on the porch swing!

Iphone off load (random order)

Playing princess one morning! Since we only have one dress-up dress, Dana got to wear the apron!
Enjoying some time outside! Aside from some heavy rain there have been some really nice days to play outside! Here they are playing with Dana's new broom set!
This was a field trip that Alice's class took to the Trash Museum in Hartford.  It was a really fun morning! Alice and her friends Izzy and Caroline are hugging it out next to a really old garbage truck!
My favorite treat for the girls! They have no idea it's not real ice cream and they love it! I could go here everyday...
Here is one very proud Alice.  This was the 'world premiere' of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar."  Alice wore her dress-up dress for the occasion!  She could not have been more excited to have her Mom and Dad come to class and watch the movie.  It was a memorable day!
Dana from this morning - what a goofy girl!  She's clearly feeling better after staying at home with a bit of a cough yesterday!
Sleepy Dana!  I just can't get enough of all my cuddles with this one....
Here is Alice opening her gift from Sue, Charlie and Ron!  We had fun celebrating a little early over Memorial day weekend!
Alice on one set of new wheels - she has a brand new bike too!  Lots of fun in store for the summer!

Easter!

We had a great Easter holiday with the Ryans!  They were great sports and drove down for the Tufts game and then spent the night and stayed through Sunday morning. This makes two years in a row of hosting the Ryan's on Easter! We were grateful for the family visit as Alice has recently been wanting to have a party at her house!  We had a big breakfast with everyone and then an egg hunt in the backyard!! It was a great day!  Thanks to the Ryan's for making the trip!
Lining up at the door for the egg hunt!

iphone off load - jan/feb

 I fit in a box!
We love our matching shirts from Auntie Anne!
Couldn't go to school but was well enough to ride in the big car at the grocery store!
Popcorn and movie for the afternoon!
We had a great time visiting our cousins in Hingham! Meeting little Chandler was the best!
 Princess Dana
Trying out our new wagon. Getting ready for the season to begin...
Wishing for snow by wearing our shirt backwards and inside out!  It worked! The snow came - it came big time!
 Painting during the blizzard
 Mostly painting...a little taste testing
 So much snow!

Alice found a fun hiding spot in the tree branches!
Speaking of hiding...you could barely see the car under all that snow!

Nothing like a cup of hot chocolate after playing outside.  Good thing Alice likes to share.
Dana pacing around the bleachers at the hockey game.
Alice was interested in the hockey for about 10 minutes... I spent the rest of the time following her around the rink. Open space and corridors are very inviting to a 3 year old!
Dana enjoyed the viewing for almost as long as Alice and then is was a competition to see who could find the most dangerous stairs to walk up!

Nothing like having to shovel the turf on the second day of the season!  Good think we enlisted the help of the men's team.  It actually cleared off pretty quickly!
After shoveling in the AM and practicing until Noon I came home to tackle the snow with these two!  Our biggest accomplishment was building 'frosty'!
