iphone off load - jan/feb

 I fit in a box!
We love our matching shirts from Auntie Anne!
Couldn't go to school but was well enough to ride in the big car at the grocery store!
Popcorn and movie for the afternoon!
We had a great time visiting our cousins in Hingham! Meeting little Chandler was the best!
 Princess Dana
Trying out our new wagon. Getting ready for the season to begin...
Wishing for snow by wearing our shirt backwards and inside out!  It worked! The snow came - it came big time!
 Painting during the blizzard
 Mostly painting...a little taste testing
 So much snow!

Alice found a fun hiding spot in the tree branches!
Speaking of hiding...you could barely see the car under all that snow!

Nothing like a cup of hot chocolate after playing outside.  Good thing Alice likes to share.
Dana pacing around the bleachers at the hockey game.
Alice was interested in the hockey for about 10 minutes... I spent the rest of the time following her around the rink. Open space and corridors are very inviting to a 3 year old!
Dana enjoyed the viewing for almost as long as Alice and then is was a competition to see who could find the most dangerous stairs to walk up!

Nothing like having to shovel the turf on the second day of the season!  Good think we enlisted the help of the men's team.  It actually cleared off pretty quickly!
After shoveling in the AM and practicing until Noon I came home to tackle the snow with these two!  Our biggest accomplishment was building 'frosty'!

Christmas!

The holidays were good to us this year.  We kicked things off with a holiday party at KO where Santa came to visit!  Alice was a little shy - she needed to be walked up to see the big guy - but was happy to sit on his lap and ask for a "princess and carriage."  Dana was less tolerant of the man in red - as you can tell from the sequence below.  She was not pleased to be on his lap and still didn't take her eyes off of him when he got up and posed behind us for the picture.  She's a clever one...

Christmas in Maine.  We had an early Christmas celebration in Maine which added a nice bit of festiveness to all the rain we had while we were there! Grandma Sue, Grandpa Chris and Nini all obliged our travel schedule and did some present opening about a week before the actual day.  The biggest hit of the day was Dana and her doll.  She loves that thing.

Dana loved cuddling with Terra during our visit.  Alice was actually jealous of their 'special relationship'!  It was pretty cute.  Too bad we can't get a dog:(

We capped off our time in Maine by going out to dinner with Nick and Katie which meant Grandpa and Grandma had their hands full.  Luckily Grandpa, Alice and Dana all have the same taste in movies!
And on to Christmas in VT!  There are very few photos from our VT portion of the trip due to the increased number of kiddos to keep track of!! (or really keeping Dana from assaulting cousin Janet!)  We had a great time and enjoyed catching up with everyone.  Here are a few pics from Christmas morning.  Unfortunately I don't have any pics of Gumma, as she was busy keeping all of us well fed and playing house elf!
The activity bus!  Can't wait for this to make it's way to CT.  Dana loved it!

Waiting for our "magic socks" to grow!
And so began the 'sharing' of the activity bus!
Alice managed a smile after logging about 4 hours of sleep and a trip to the ER at 8:30am on Christmas morning!  She was a trooper!

Dana enjoying stuffing her pig full of coins!  Thank you Charlie and Susie!
Amazing handiwork by Charlie!  Alice loves her chalkboard!
The incredible hulk version!  Very cool!
